Despite limited resources, the Coalition Government made it a priority not only to improve infrastructure but also to raise the standard of public service delivery. PNCR’s Shurwayne Holder recalled how, under the Coalition, agencies like GWI and GRA were reformed into more professional and responsive institutions. “Just recently, in Henrietta Village, residents were frustrated by discolored water flowing from their taps,” Holder said. “But GWI field staff acted swiftly, and the courteous response from the office girls reminded us of the good policies put in place by the Coalition.” Holder affirmed that APNU remains committed to public service excellence, pledging a 35% increase in salaries for public servants, as a recognition of their role in keeping communities running and citizens supported.
